The first thing you should do is ask yourself: 

Is this really what your want to do? Do you have what it takes to be a Hospital Director?

Here are the steps:

​

  • Go to your Hospital Director or Deputy Director and explain your interest. Get their support and guidance (or blessing).

  • You may undergoes in- house training to gain experience with or without rotation in various Units/Supporting Department (Quality, Infection Control, UKA, OSH, CRC, etc) or another route will be working in JKN or Various Ministry Department.

  • During this time you enquired experience. Dont forget to involve in various activities including research or poster presentation.

  • Check the Training Division of MOH web pages. They usually open one time in a respective year. Alert on this matter or else you might missed the chance that year. 

  • You may choose either "Cuti Belajar Bergaji Penuh" Dengan or Tanpa HLP. Each have their own advantages and disadvantages.

  • Complete all the forms, summit it to respective authorities. Be sure you know where the form goes. Preferably once it completed sent by-hand to JKN.

  • You will be call for interview. The aim of this mainly to assess your experience and mind set.

  • Wait for the result (usually 3 month)

  • If you are not selected, do not dissapointed. Try again next year until you get the offer letter.

  • Here some Tips: you may go for TGP (Tallent Grooming Program), GCP (Good Clinical Practice, INTAN (Institut Takbir Awam Negara), Akademi Kenegaraan, BTN, NIOSH or other supporting 

  • If you being selected, CONGRATULATION!. Go to next steps.

Different people have different planning. Once you get offer, immediately go apply to the University, do not west any time, immediately contact the University representatives and ask for procedure to summit application. Say that you apply for CBBP and the result out on November, just apply the program early even if the closing date is in October (11 month ahead- I know). Previously the the academic program open twice a year but currently it open only yearly. So plan ahead and manage you time and holiday wisely. Visit the University if you have time. Again, be sure this is what you want to do! Once you get selected to get enrolled, buy the airplane ticket to Manila. Travel there and experience the culture. Planned budget ahead which include transportation, accommodation, enrollment fee, visa fee, living cost, stationary, food, etc. You can bring RM1000 + Peso 10K + $2.5K which I found ideally. First stay maybe in Hotel before you can find place to live. Next choose either you want to live in Studio apartment (1 Bed room) cost 15-25K Peso (RM1,300) or Hostel (Bed Space) cost 3-6K Peso (RM300) per month. Owner might ask for 3 month rental deposit + 1 Month advance Utility deposit + 6 month post dated checked. So be wise choosing accommodation. Tips: In The University area is expensive but when you go a bit further away the price relatively cheaper. 

You only stay here for 1 year, so take you time and choose wisely. .

Go To UP Dental and NHS-Undergoes Physical Exam or Medical Checkup

Go To IMS- Get Email and SAIS registered

Go To CPH- Secretary Office Level 2. Meet Supervisor for subject selection approval

These steps not necessarily in order. You may need to repeat steps  just the way the process goes. Student Affairs located in NGOSH where visa application will be conducted. Payment also in NGOSH. Tips: Try use Robinson Mall for shortcut route. Typically registration take more than 2 days, so its tiring weeks just be patient.
